All By Myself……..

I’m alone. My partner, my co-captain, my team mate is GONE! I know, I know, I leave him about once a quarter for a little scrapbook getaway (like next weekend!!), but he NEVER leaves US! I managed this morning A-OK. We left the house at 7:00 AM, dropped Nick and Kaila off at daycare, dropped Cory off at the middle school, dropped Zach and Brad off at Aunt Traci’s (thank GOD she can take them to school for us!), and took Madi to school. I made it to work by 7:50. I am woman, hear me roar J Tonight my brother-in-law Buddy is picking up the three boys from the middle school and my dad is picking up Cory from home and taking him to practice which starts at 5:00, and then picking up Nick and Kaila and bringing them home for me. I’m picking up Madi and going home to make a quick dinner and then we all have to pick Cory up at 7:00 PM. And then tomorrow I get to do the morning routine all over again!! But it went so well this morning that I’m not too stressed.

It is weird though, being here and not having Kyle home. I mean, he goes hunting and what not, but being gone for a couple of nights just seems strange. The kids miss him. Madi was loving that she got to sleep with me last night though! It is good for us to have time away from each other, and for Kyle to get some peace and quiet, but I’ll be glad to see him tomorrow night!

Hope you are all having a good start to the week!!

Sounds like you have everything under control, you rock! With Bob's wacky shift work I have gotten very used to not having him around or having him around in large quantities. Life! ssh

Absence makes the heart grow stronger? Yeah baby...you two will be like teenagers again after his couple days away and your upcoming CCC weekend.
remember...the Barton's are a phone call away if you need any help. :-) You are such a great planner!
