Today is Brad's birthday eve. He's been really trying lately. I'm trying to be tough, but sometimes you just want to hug him. He is such a cool kid, but somedays I want to send him on his way. He makes me laugh, but makes me yell too. He's spending his birthday evening in the woods with his dad hunting. I'm making a cake tomorrow night for him to enjoy when he gets home. Maybe all the other kids will be in bed and it'll just be the three of us eating cake. I think that's what he needs. As you can tell, I'm stumped. Need some good parenting advice for the mother of a 10 year old mouth. Actually Susan H and Kandi and Diane have given me some. And I know this will probably pass. But I wish I could figure him out and make it all better. Ah well, sooner or later I will.

I also started physical therapy for my back/hip last Friday. Had it again today. Oh my God it's already SO much better during the day. Now if I could just sleep through the night without it waking me up. Ah well, sooner or later I will.
