Cranberry and Absolut-ly Way TOO Much Fun!

My baby sister turned 30 yesterday. Yep, Jilly's OLD now :) Seriously, the sneaky game plan between her husband and I was for them to drop the kids at my house for me to watch while they went to dinner and shopped or went to a movie or something. But REALLY what happened is that Kandi, God love her, volunteered to watch 5 of my kids (Zach was at a friends), both of Jill's, and we met up with Jill and Gary at a local restaurant. Also there was Gary's brother and sister-in-law, Jill and Gary's friends Ryan and Joey, my Dad, and later my Mom and Rex. Jill was SURPRISED! It wasn't a big fancy event. But dinner was good, and so were the drinks. There enters the Cranberry and Absolut. Jill just wanted to drink a Coke. We wouldn't let her. The girls were basically at one table, and the boys at another. We girls kind of managed to challenge each other to drink another. Um, not such a great idea. My mom had to escort us ladies (ha ha using that term loosely!) to the potty. I turned to sit down and almost fell. Jill did the whole bathroom routine with her eyes shut. OH MY GOSH. After that we went to a local bar where we drank a little MORE cranberry and absolut. Did I mention that the boys didn't drink much. Apparently they realized we were drunk quicker than we did! Needless to say we had an EXCELLENT time, and I'm PRETTY sure that Jill will remember her 30th birthday fondly! Some pics from the night...too funny!!!

Dad and Jill...

The guys wishing they hadn't encouraged us to drink!

Us girls...Jill, here sis-in-law Stephanie, Me, and Joey

My mom and Jill...I think at this point I'd had a LITTLE too much to drink ;)

Hope you all had a good weekend!!!

My lovely daughters ... I'm glad you were in the safe hands of your husbands ... but I'm wondering if you remember ALL the "conversations" we had! ;)

And Jill ... dancing in the bathroom stall and playing in the water of the sink ... Beth "drying" her hair with the hand dryer ... guess I'll stop there!

My throat was totally sore from laughing at you!

Love you both and I KNOW Jill will remember this birthday for a good long time! Something about yakking steak is unforgettable, isn't it, Jill?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JILL!!

Jill is SUCH a lightweight...I felt great this morning, after waking up at 4:30 and taking some ibuprofen. Woke up at 9:00, weeded a flower bed, and worked on laundry all day. OH, and I made a pot roast for dinner. How's that sound Jilly!?

I am so glad that I could help you ladies enjoy the celebration...(blushing) "sorry about Maria's clothes, Jill" "and the corner, Beth!" but on the other hand....glad you girls had a great time. They were so silly when they got home...but it was so nice to see them having a great time together...let loose once in awhile...you deserve it.
