Gosh, where to begin???
It's been a few days since I last updated, so I'm going to start and the beginning and get you all up to speed!
Friday night was an uneventful but relaxing evening spent at the campground. Bob kept Nick and Kaila for the weekend, so we just had our four.
Saturday we went to Maria's birthday party. The CUTEST little girl! I was lazy and didn't take my camera. Jill took lots I think. I'll be scrapping those! Afterwards the men all went back to Dad's to play cards. I took the kids and went back to the campground for the Haunted Woods. It was Halloween weekend at the campground, and they decorate and hide people in the woods to scare you. We drive our golf carts or walk through. It's scary, I'm not going to try to sound tough. Of course the big kids love it. Madi, Zach, and I, not so much. Plus I'm trying to drive on a dark trail lit by tiki torches and that's IT!
Yesterday we had Traci, Buddy, and the boys over for dinner. A yummy summer dinner I might add - grilled pork chops and chicken, sweet corn, pasta and potato salads, and a blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. YUM. Anyway, Kristin called to see if Cory could come stay the night. Kyle thought probably not because we had company. So she jokingly asked if Madi could come. I said yes. I think she was shocked. Madi LOVES her Kwistin, and Kristin loves Madi. So why not?!
Tonight I took the kids down and they got to swim and eat pizza with Kristin and two of her boys. It was such a relaxing night. Thanks Kristin!!!

Sounds like you had another busy weekend. We are, and almost are, back to school. Last night was orientation for middle school (which Em loved, and I wish Kyle was her principal!) so Bob and I spent the evening at Schofield Middle School talking to teachers. I am off for my first day back:( Boy summer was short! Enjoy your last month. ssh
Everybody wishes Kyle was their kid's assistant principal or boss for that matter. He has an awesome way of dealing with them "tween" years kids. And boy did Madi and I have a blast together. I wish I could have had her longer.
the swimming & pizza sound great :)
wish i lived closer! glad you guys had fun though =)
