A Big Old Post!
Whew...we've been busy! Where to start?
First, I didn't get Madi's hair cut yesterday. Today. I think.
Second, Zachary lost his second top front tooth...very funny. Look!

Third, Saturday was Christmas in July at the campground. Madi WOULD NOT go near Santa. Can't say I blame her. It was 90-ish and we were towards the end of the line. If you catch my drift?

This weekend Susan, Katy, and Emily made their way to MI for a wedding. We got to have Em hang out with us both Saturday and Sunday evenings. Very cool. She and the older boys had fun. Susan brought us homemade peach jam. One jar is almost gone. YUM!
Yesterday I took the afternoon off and worked 7-11. Kyle and Beth needed to ESCAPE with no kids. We went down to Allen, MI to antique shops. Found lots of stuff I thought I could have, but when your house is already full of CRAP, it's hard to buy more. :) Made our way after that back to the campground in time for the adult swim hour (18+ only PLEASE!).
Somewhere in the middle we bought a 12' x 30" pool for the back yard. Spent an hour or so setting it up last night. Spent another hour or so draining and moving it after deciding it wasn't so level. Nick, Cory, Brad, Kyle and I were working to drain it. With buckets. Can you see where we're going? I got hit with a five gallon bucket of freezing cold water that my HUSBAND threw at me. I was trying to escape. I had turned to run. I got soaked on my backside. Then it was no holds barred...we were all slinging water at each other. In 90 degree heat, it felt alright truthfully. After the initial shock. Slept GOOD last night!
I'm off to take Nick and Kaila to daycare and then to work. Have a great day!

The suspense is killing us!!! We are all waiting for the before and after shot of the fashion diva and her new, self inflicted hair style (even grumpy grampy). Glad you and Kyle had some time together. If anyone deserves it, it is the two of you. You both have my great admiration for the jobs (all of them!) you are doing. ssh
What's the big idea getting that close to your friends house and not stopping by. We could have adult swim in our pool. Kids are at PAC all week.
