and away we go.........
whew. We're back in the swing of things. Faster and more furiously than expected. I went to Jill's with Zach on Sunday to hang out and bring Madi home. The night without kids was great, but I did miss them. A little :) We had a great time at Jill's. Zach tried to catch frogs. Madi and I played dollhouse with Maria and Jill. Jill made a yummy dinner - grilled chicken and corn on the cob. It was NICE.
While we were at Jill's, Kyle took Cory and Brad to a football meeting/equipment pickup. Seems that the boys have 4 nights of practice this week, from 6-8. Three night more next week. And a game on the 27th. Nothing like jumping RIGHT BACK IN! So after work last night I came home and got the boys and Madi, went across town to finally get Nick and Kaila back, and then we took the boys to practice. While they practiced, we grabbed McDonald's and headed to a park. That was nice. The kids played great, I filled out some paperwork for Madi's school, and then we left to get the boys.
Tonight is Madi's open house for preschool, which Kyle is going to. I'm going to take the rest of the kids to football practice. I think the other kids and I may walk the trails at the high school for a while. Secretly, I enjoy having a schedule back. I operate SOOO much better when I have lots to do. Pressure is good for me. Otherwise, I'm TOO laid back! Three weeks from today school starts. Today Kyle is back at school. I'm not thrilled about Kyle heading back, and truthfully neither is he! Hope you all have a good day!
I waited to post this so I could post pictures, but blogger isn't letting me. I am annoyed and wasting too much time waiting, so maybe later?

I feel your pain at 1/6th the level! Middle school has Emily and the rest of us hopping; Bob and I just aren't sure how long we will be able to hop! But I do agree with the schedule thing, life seems to be better when we all have things to do. Can't wait to see the pictures. ssh
