Perfect Weather!
Wow, was the weather this weekend awesome! It was in the upper 70's in the afternoon, but cooled down to about 60 or so at night. Great for campfires!!! Here are a few shots from the weekend.

And this would be fashion sense by Kyle Hamlin...apparently these sandals are more comfortable WITH socks...hubba hubba!
Oh, and happy birthday to my Dad!! He spent the day shooting, but stopped over for a bit for some cake. It was a great excuse to make a German chocolate cake with pecan caramel frosting. Let's just say that the leftover frosting make a dandy snack for me this afternoon :) Hope you all had a good weekend!!

I had the same idea about it being perfect weather for camping and campfires last night when I had to grab a jacket to finish mowing. Glad you had a nice weekend and the cake sounds delicous! Save some for me.
So glad you had a good weekend; we had a productive weekend and the pool FINALLY opened. Can't say the weather was as nice as yours, that will come in October! But we are sooooo hoping for a repeat of that weather for next weekend, so put in the order for us!!! We will see you soon. ssh
