It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time...

It did, it really did. Kyle is off at school. Cory and Brad are staying the night at the Bunker's. I'm here with 4 kids, ages almost 9, 7, almost 6, and 4. I thought, oooh, I know, I'll give them markers, construction paper, glue sticks, and scissors, and I'll go upstairs to scrap. I made a card. Then I watched too much TV. The kids would come up every once in a while to report what they were doing. I had turned Radio Disney on, so they were pretending to be in a band at one point. I talked to Jill for a bit. Then, all of a sudden, Zach, Nick, and Kaila came running up saying that Madi had CUT HER HAIR. Let's just say Maria's bangs...no biggie. Jill, Madi took 4 inch chunks out of her too cute piggy tails. UGH. I was really planning to get her hair cut before school and donate a nice 10 inch pony tail to Locks of Love. So much for that idea. Tomorrow I'll be heading to get Madi's hair REALLY cut. Shoulder length. Hmmm...guess next time I'll know not to leave Madi with scissors. Lesson learned. Message received. Now they're in bed. And I'm REALLY going to scrap. Good night!

Oh my, all that beautiful hair! I'm with Jill, can't wait to see the pictures. We had a good weekend and Emily was sooooo glad she you as an option in Jax. Bob is a little pouty because I never did find him a maple Bun candy bar (he claims I didn't look hard enough and empty boxes were no excuse!) ssh
