Peace, Love, Harmony, and Joy

Not sure why that's my title, just felt like saying it. Or maybe I'm trying to channel those things?! Anyway, today was BUSY at work. Whenever our department has a meeting, everything and anything gets thrown my way the day before, and I have to manage to get all of it done. Usually it does, and today was no exception, but I'm freaking out on the inside trying to figure it all out. The reward however...Dad took Zach to baseball, Kyle took Brad and the other kids, and I went to a work dinner at Daryl's Downtown. Awesome appetizers, salad, beef tenderloin and cheesy garlic mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake. And a cranberry and Absolut. My favorite drink EVER. But just one, then I had iced tea and water. Otherwise I'd have been sleeping at the table! Got to laugh with some awesome co-workers too, so that was cool. Now I'm heading off to write thank you notes to Nick and Kaila's teachers for the help they gave us throughout the year. They did an amazing job. I'll leave you with these though...

Zachary's 7th birthday - yes, I suck, we were at the campground and I never posted here...happy birthday to my sweet, wild man Zach!!! :)

Took this picture at Mill Creek in Mackinaw to go with my post a couple weeks ago titled "Dandelion Wishes"...COOL!

The Edmund Fitzgerald bell at the Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, MI. Amazing, humbling, beautiful.

And finally, we saw Governor Granholm giving a speech at the Governor's Mansion on Mackinac Island as we were going from the Grand Hotel to Fort Mackinaw...kinda cool, even if this picture is bad!

You guys are incredible....I thought our lives were crazy here. Next time we are scrapping at the camper, bring that drink. It sounds interesting.
