Happy Father's Day!!

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's in my life! I happen to be married to one of the most amazing fathers in the world. Kyle Robert is amazing when it comes to our kids. He is patient when I'm not, he is stern when I should be, he cuts the kids slack when I won't, he makes thing I think are BIG seem not so big, he is the perfect other half of us. The kids think the world of him too...they all love him, respect him, and when asked about a hero in school, the boys all picked their dad. Today was pretty low key at our house. I made him homemade fries for lunch, and tonight I grilled chicken and we had strawberry shortcake for dessert. The kids were just as happy with the meal and dessert as Kyle was.



We spent the weekend at the campground, our first full weekend since the season started. It was quiet, the kids friends were all busy at home, so Cory and Brad in particular were bored. Kyle asked Cory to put his sunroof down and the windows up Saturday evening, and we soon found them like this, listening to satellite radio :) Soon enough this will be a REAL shot, with them driving out of the driveway and off to some event. WOW! Kind of a scary realization!!
