A Grand Slam and A Commander
Last night was Brad's first (and last) playoff game. His team has pretty much lost every game. Last night they gave the other team a run for their money. The ended up losing 13-12. Bummer. However, Brad didn't mind THAT much. He hit a GRAND SLAM in the park HOME RUN!! We were SOOO excited. And because of that, he got the coveted game ball, which he's been annoyed about not getting all season :) He was a happy kid!
Now, the commander. We've been making 3 car payments since getting the Excursion. Not fun. Kyle went yesterday and with all his mad bargaining skills, managed to get a 2006 Jeep Commander. Seats 7, power sunroof, leather seats, Sirius satellite radio, etc. The works. It's navy blue, and I'll try tonight to take a picture of it. We are just leasing it for 3 years. Someone (um...not me) likes new vehicles more than he should...so we can get rid of it after the 3 years if we want.
So anyway, that's all that's happening here! Off to work!

Too funny.....went by last night saw that Commander in the drive and kids all hovered around...assumed you had company so I did not honk wildly as I would normally! LOL Very cool!!
Bradley- YOU ROCK! Congrats on the homerun, bud! What a HIT! and a game ball to remember that Grand Slam when you were only 9! WOW! Now that's cool Mr. Jock!
Oh, not another blue vehicle. Too bad he didn't work for DMS anymore because the yellow hornet sticker looks awesome in blue vehicle windows. Brad- way to go buddy! K3 has his homerun ball in a little plastic box thingy on his dresser...maybe you can find one of those.
Way to go Brad!!!! You'll have to bring your baseball stuff to VA and I'll bring my ball, bat, and mitt, we should have enough people for a couple of teams:) Another car??? I know Kyle probably doesn't like to hear this but he is sooooo much like his father! ssh
I'm confused--does that mean you are now making FOUR car payments? For two drivers? Yikes!
Congrats to Brad! I know when my boys get to that age, I will be the proudest momma out there if they do that. Way to go!
Sorry, no, now we're down to two cars again...thank God!! You guys are right, this momma was proud, and so was he...too cute!
yay for Brad!!! wow, a grand slam is so cool. good for him. even though they lost that's still a great season-ender for him, i'm sure.
