run, run, run as fast as you can...

Got a little surprise last night.... rain = no baseball :) So what did I do? Dozed off on the couch, reorganized some scrapping supplies, watched the Tigers with Kyle, and went to bed. What a nice night! Now, tonight Brad had to play his game, and Kyle had softball, so we were running full speed again, but it was worth the little break last night!

This was Brad's first game, and he PITCHED! He got to pitch once in minors for the Jackson team he played on years ago, but this year it's just he and one other boy, Keegan, who is in 5th grade. He had a bit of a slow start, but was doing way better during the 2nd and 3rd inning. The rest of the game he played right field.

Kandi and I went to lunch together...I won't disclose what we ATE, but this little thing kept begging from us while we were parked at Loomis Park enjoying some sunshine and warm weather. He was hilarious...we both were giggling so hard...I almost blew cheese...ooops, almost told ya...almost blew something out my nose! Seriously, he was a little creepy, even stalker-ish...look at him!

And finally for tonight, took this through the living room window. Cory was talking to his friend Tommy tonight, not even sure what about, but just felt like a glimpse into the future...he seems very grown up here. And truthfully, he is soooooo much more grown up lately, it's scary!

Sure it was tommy and not tara?! They do grow quickly from here on out. I do enjoy watching them change in to young adults though...it's almost as fun as watching them run around in diapers (ok, maybe not as exciting).

We have an 11 going on 25, she's thinking maybe she should just skip middle school and head right to the high school. Yeah, right. VA should be interesting with 3 pre-teens and their 6 parents!!! ssh
