Routine...
Not the routine you’d expect, like get up, get dressed, eat, brush your teeth, wash your face, etc. Well, we do all that, but Nick, Kaila, and I have another routine.
It’s one that I always smile about, and usually forget to mention. Every morning, as soon as I fire the truck up, one of the two kids ask for “that can’t go home song”.
Well, they’re talking about “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” by Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland. They absolutely, positively love that song.
We can get it in twice before we get to daycare. They think that’s way cool.
The other kids love this song too, in fact, when it comes over the radio, it is common to see all of the kids and I singing it in the truck!

awwww, what a fun routine! i love that song too, one of my absolute all-time favorites :) of course cause it's Bon Jovi, but i love Sugarland too :)
Having been in the truck when Nick and Kaila request that song, it's a "Moment with Aunt Beth" that will always be remembered! The looks on their faces are priceless!
Another memory I know they won't forget with their Auntie!!
