A Little Drama Anyone?
Yep, drama. That's what we had today. I stopped in to tell my friend Karen that I'd called about preschool for Madi finally (more about that later) when the receptionist came in and said "your husband's secretary is on the phone and she said to find you." I reply with, "Ooooohhhhhh sssshhhhhhh...........!" I practically run down the hall to my office knowing something is REALLY wrong. Well, after several scenarios, here's what happened...Kyle was trying to get into a box in the supply room. The box opened easier than he thought, his hand flew up and caught the bottom edge of metal shelving. Kyle's veins in his hand are rather close to the surface. Kyle doesn't like to see his own blood. That being said, a vein was cut, blood was pumping...like he was catching it with the other hand and it was still dripping on the floor. He got back to the office where there is a girl from the high school that helps in the afternoon. That girl is the TRAINER at the high school. She got him to get it under running water so they could see what it was. He was still bleeding lots at this point. Enter the thing about him not liking to see his own blood. Yep, he was sitting down, and passed out. They called an ambulance. To quote Mrs. Potts, his boss, "When I saw your eyes roll back I thought this guy ain't goin' on my watch."!!!!! Well, the bleeding finally got stopped, Kyle finally came around, and sent the ambulance on their way. Then he DROVE HIMSELF to Foote Express, where I met up with him. No stitches, but steri-strips and glue instead. Kyle is fine, plans to play softball tomorrow, and took Brad to his game tonight. Alls well that ends well I suppose!
Oh, and on the preschool front, stopping by another one tomorrow, this one located downtown and extremely convenient. I'll keep you posted. For now, BED!! Night all!!

i'm glad he's OK!
how embarrassing having the ambulance show up, better safe than sorry though!!
You should have heard the first message we got! What ever happened to, "Everything is okay now, we just had a little accident," you still know you are not going to like what comes next, but you're not having a heart attack! We are so glad everything and everyone is fine! ssh
A certain sister-in-law of mine enjoys a little drama I believe ;) Really, we wouldn't have even called you, you just would have read about it here!
Yikes! Never a dull moment in your house, eh?
Glad he's ok...don't care for the blood much myself.
