Last Night's Layouts

Occasionally, for some unknown reason, I get a surge of creative energy on Sunday evening. I don't know if it is because it's a last ditch effort at being creative during that particular weekend, or if I know I won't get a shot at it until the next weekend. Not sure what fuels it, but last night I had it. So while I was watching Desperate Housewives and sipping Mountain Dew on ice, I created these two layouts...

I love this one because there aren't people in it. It's just photography capturing my favorite spring flowers. Got a little crooked on the scanner bed apparently...but you get the idea.

I love this one because the picture is of three of the kids that make my life, well, let's just say, the most interesting. I did a couple things I haven't done before on this layout. I used the heart from the background printed paper for the title. I also made a frame around it by cutting the center out of it. I scraplifted this one too, but boy I need to start writing things down. Again, can't remember the person, or if it's exactly like this, but I know I got the idea from someone out there in blog-world.
