Just a quick one...
Just a quick post to let you know I'm alive. Barely :) Seriously though, I'm packing as fast as possible for the Mackinaw trip with Brad. Know I'll have fun once I'm enroute, but I can NOT see past a destroyed house, mound of laundry, and various other things that need to be done. I'm not leaving my hubby in very good shape on the home front, and that just bugs me. I like to be the organized woman with everything laid out for the week for everyone, and Lord knows with baseball and a holiday weekend, that IS NOT going to happen.
I promise an awesome recap post on Sunday of Mackinaw, Cedar Point, Memorial Day weekend at the campground, etc. Check out Jill's blog here for pics of Kaila's field trip today to Binder Park Zoo. Take a deep breath, do want needs to be done to get you out the door and Kyle will be fine. One thing I have learned from Bob is that he does understand that I can't do it all; I'm the one that can't walk away if it isn't completed. You and Brad have a great time in Mackinaw. And keep telling yourself this is the time of year when there is never enough time! ssh
Have a great time and don't worry about a thing. Kyle can handle everything....ok almost anything! I do understand your frustration though. I hate it when I don't have all aspects of my life under "control". Just enjoy Brad...this is a once in a lifetime experience.
i can understand the feeling also of leaving things a little scattered...but they'll be fine!!

Kyle is a great partner, he will do fine...as long as there is no blood shed! :-)
