Whew...Aren't Weekends Supposed to be Relaxing?
Wow, the weekend got off to a busy start...we got up early on Friday to take the Durango in to Extreme to have some minor work done on it. As long as I was up and dressed, I headed to the grocery store. Also finished off Easter preparations ;) Got home, had lunch, and then it was time to head over to Ypsilanti to see Susan. Mom and I took them thinking if we got there right at 2:30, we would have a jump on everyone else. Well, apparently everyone else had the same idea. Plus it was hotter than the dickens in the waiting room. The only seats left weren't seats, but a window sill with a HEATER VENT in it...um yeah, let's just say TOASTY! We ended up waiting out there for about an hour. Nick and Kaila were really quite good, a little antsy, but hey, so was I!! We had a nice visit, and were back on the road to head home by 5:00. Dropped Mom off at her car at Meijer's and ran home for a bathroom break, then headed to Spring Arbor to Cory's baseball practice, because I had his glove! Oops!! Once there, Kyle caught me up on the days events, like these great pictures from Bonnie's Easter egg hunt, and then he headed with all of the kids except Cory to Bob and Alice's for an Easter egg hunt. Can you say lots of CANDY???!!! After practice I ran to Parma with Cory to pick up his friend Tommy, who stayed the night with us. We all rolled into the house about the same time, 8:30. I ordered pizza on my way home, so I dropped off some kids, picked up others that HAD to go with me, and went to pick up pizza. Whew, are you all tired yet? So that was our Friday! And I thought a three day weekend would be relaxing!!
