Take Your Child To Work Day
Yep, it was "Take Your Child To Work Day" today...so I took Cory. The other kids were slightly annoyed, but they got over it. I was thinking it would be great to show Cory how busy I am at work and that I rarely sit down, but of course today was relatively slow, and I'd been working like crazy to get kind of caught up so I could actually show him things today. Hmm...my plan didn't exactly work. But he was a lot of help, shredding, making file folders up for me, delivering all sorts of stuff. He went to "jail" with Karen today, who got arrested for MDA. They had a great picture taken, but I forgot that I had scanned it today. Will post that tomorrow. After JAIL, I picked them both up and we went to the Parlour for lunch, and even took back ice cream for later. Wow, been eatin' too much of that stuff lately!
Tonight we had ball practice for Cory and Zach. Leftovers for dinner, got a couple loads of laundry done...things are going well. Kyle's showering kids or making sure the line keeps moving anyway. I'm off to fold more laundry and plop down. Have a good night everyone...tomorrow is FRIDAY!

you guys need a Hamlin Assembly Line for showers, eating, laundry....etc.!!
Some how thinking of Kyle keeping a moving line of six children going through the showers makes me laugh!! Glad you got to take Cory to work with you, I took a day off to go to the middle school with Em and her class. She is so excited because next year she gets to wear flip-flops to school...go figure! Have a great weekend and I hope you are feeling better. ssh
I can't wait to see the Jail picture...should be awesome. Kraig got arrested at the Relay for Life weekend before...it was quite amusing.
You just need another bathroom!!! 8)
Consider an outside "portable" shower? HA!!!
