More Family Updates...

Started the day off going to see Dr. Rao for Kaila. She's been getting in trouble at school and daycare for not listening, and at home I'm repeating things several times. Even Bob mentioned that he thought she should have her ears checked. So that's what we did today, and she definitely has some type of problem with her hearing, although Dr. Rao didn't see any signs of infection, or blockage of any kind. So Monday we are going to the ears-nose-throat doctor that they referred us to. Will update you all then...

Tonight I took Nick and Kaila to see Susan. Great visit. Kids were a tad out of control on the way over, but I told them I refused to take them in if they weren't going to behave. They were really very good. They get so excited about seeing Susan it's hard to keep their emotions in check beforehand and while they're there. But they did good today, and chatted her right up. Couldn't shut up actually. I think each ear of hers is listening to a different kid :) If not, they need to!

Kyle got the kids working in the yard today, in TEAMS! We had two pooper-scooping teams: Brad and Nick were one and Zach and Kaila the other. Cory and Madi were in charge of stick pick-up. The yard looks way better, especially after months of 3 dogs pooping....yuck! Kyle is really whipping this place into shape this week...laundry, the yard, the garage is even on his schedule for Friday. He's GREAT!
