Isn't It Funny?

This morning I was a total grouch...the kids were NOT wanting to get up, I didn't want to get up, I managed to get kicked out of my own bed (thank you Kaila and Madi), I was SUPER far behind on laundry, the house wasn't how I like it, and the list goes on. I was SURE I was going to be in a bad mood today. However, if you are receptive to change, and willing to BUCK UP, your mood can be changed! Started off with some of my favorite co-workers asking about our Easter and our weekend, went to lunch and got the baseball pants and socks that Cory needed, and still had time to go home and eat, got lots done at work, Bob called to say he'd bring Nick and Kaila home (Kyle was turkey hunting, so the running was all for me tonight), the kids WANTED leftovers for dinner, I got lots of laundry done, and to celebrate, I took the kids to Frosty Boy to get an ice cream cone. I just think it's funny how a day can start out mighty POOPY and manage to get turned around if you let it!

After getting our ice cream we came home, Cory tried teaching Brad and I how to do Soduku, Zach and Nick "played" addition flashcards, and Madi and Kaila played Go Fish with new color flashcards from the Easter bunny just like Grandma taught them yesterday. It was SO nice just having everyone get along for a bit!!

Well, have a good night all!!

Wow, you had a busy posting weekend! Actually, just a busy weekend, period! I get tired just READING about your life!

Anytime I get tempted to complain about how busy I am, I'll just read your blog and suck it up. :-)

Blessings!

Talena
