Back On Top
Well, back on top today folks. OK, maybe that's a little bit exaggerated, but my day went like this:
- got to work to find a bracelet from a co-worker for "administrative professional's day"
- Kandi took me to lunch...thank you!
- my shoulder is better...it still hurts, but only when typing/using the mouse, and if i sit just right, it's not that bad even then - gonna give it til monday all you moms, then i'll call the dr
- hip is feeling good, as good as it ever does - got a big old pop out of it last night
- after lunch i got flowers from the inside sales department
- after that i got an awesome arrangement of three of the coolest bright pink roses from my friend cathi...thank you!
- got home and threw togther dinner, which was made by Kandi - sloppy joes, mac and cheese, chips. EASY!!
- walked with the kids to watch Kyle's softball game at nixon
- afterwards went for ice cream with the kids and for a ride to look for deer - saw 7
How can you not feel blessed when you look at these boogers???
Things are definitely better in my noggin. I'll deal with the child support thing that day, and will write my sister and brother-in-law letters to let them know what's going on. beyond that, its out of my control!
- my friend diane had her third chemo today...prayers for her
- my gramps and gram heading home on saturday...wishing them a safe trip
Kristin, Kandi, Jill, and I are having a camping scrapping weekend May 6/7...can't wait to escape and get creative with my favorite creative pals. Plus sit around a fire, enjoy a beverage or 6, eat some pizza and smores, and get a GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP that weekend!
Finally some pics of KRH at ball - waiting to bat...

And this one Kaila took while Kyle was walking to his spot in the outfield...

i'm glad things are better :)
i think we have a little photographer in Kaila Sue, i LOVE the picture!!
I remember someone once told me a long time ago, it's ok that you're not "up" all the time ... you're so entitled to not be the "queen of perkiness!" Please remember that!
Continue to enjoy all the small things in life ... they're all feathers that turn into one big happy feather pillow!
Love you!
Maybe I could lend you the sign that Mrs. Putnam gave me for Christmas this year that said "I don't do PERKY!" Whatever?! Glad things went better today. I think there are great benefits to adult sport opportunities. It is definitely a break from reality and old age.
