St. Patrick's Day

Well, I don't know if it was the luck of the Irish, or the lack of luck for Kyle's co-worker Matt, but his family was all sick, and at the last minute he peddled his tickets for Stomp. SO, Kyle and I got them for about half price, and I took Cory and Brad, and my friend Karen went along too! It was at the Wharton Center, which my car seems to be finding easily these days! We had such a great time. Karen and I had seen it before and loved it. The boys were a little skeptical, but as soon as the lights went down and the performers started using push brooms to create beats, they were mesmerized. If you've never seen the show, you definitely should sometime...it's well worth the money!

In other news, being St. Patrick's Day yesterday, I found these on sale at Joann's when I went with Kandi, so I picked them up for the kids. They were happy with the little treats, and the girls especially loved their hairties!

Tiny beer steins with chocolate in them...

Shamrock slinky's...

Hair ties for the girls...

Tonight Karen is taking the kids to McDonald's and back to her house while Kyle and I go to Azalea's for dinner and then to the hot tubs. I can't wait to eat a grown up meal and relax in the hot tub. Steak or shrimp...that's the big question :)

You know my vote...have a nice relaxing time. Great finds at JoAnn's. Probably a good thing I don't live closer to a "real" city with "real" stores.
