The Lion King
WOW! What an awesome show! I took Nick and Zach to see...
and it was amazing. The boys didn't even know what they were in for. First, let me start at the beginning. One night after seeing Susan, we were on our way home and Nick heard a commercial for this show. He asked if I would take him. I kind of laughed him off and said that the tickets cost a lot of money, and probably not. No biggie, he just said, "OK, but if you get a lot of money someday, could you take me?" You betcha guy! So Mom told a friend of hers about it because she happened to be going also. Well, when Karen her friend went to the show, she bought us three tickets AS A GIFT! How awesome is that? I have to say, that this whole thing has taught me so much about the good in people. We have the greatest friends and family, and are so truly BLESSED! Anyway, back to the show...
It was terrific. The boys loved it! I loved it! Here's a shot of us beforehand...no pictures inside

The smiles on the boys' faces says it all. I'm so glad Karen was able to purchase the tickets for you! What a treat!
Rex and I are leaving to visit with Susan in a few minutes. He and I are going in together and then he's going to wait for me in the visiting area so that I can spend some time with her alone.
I'll be sure to tell her about the happiness on Nick's face and how great it was of you to take the boys!

It was a great show, I agree, it was amazing. How cool would it be if we had an 1/8th of that talent.
I don't know about Lion King.............but I am dying to go see Broke Back Mountain with all my friends here in Lansing..........Gary
