Time Flies....

I feel like it's been forever since I last posted!! Wow, have I been busy! Sunday afternoon Jill and Gary ended up coming down so Gary could go play basketball with Kyle and his friends. It was great to get to see Jill twice in one weekend, and Maria and Xave are doll babies that I can't get enough of! I made manicotti for dinner (YUM!!) and we had fresh strawberries and cool-whip for dessert, although there weren't enough of THOSE for everyone to get their fill of!

Last night after work I went with my friend Diane from work to Lansing where we had a MARVELOUS dinner at Bravo's. I had Penne Mediterranean, which was penne pasta, feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, a little spinach, and pine nuts. Oh my gosh was it awesome! After that we went to the LOVELY bookstore and spent some hard earned money on books. Oh was that fun, even just looking was fun. Diane is the friend that I had a "reading contest" with last year, when I read 45 books. She read 43...so I won :) But seriously, it was great to trade books back and forth, discuss the ones we'd both read, etc.

Finally, tonight I've just been catching up. After not being home last night I had to jump right back into laundry, and did a little picking up, although Kyle did a great job keeping things in shape last night. He's always great about that!

Tonight Nick and Kaila talked to Bobby. Seems he's gotten a job in yard maintenance (similar to what Susan had at first), and starts a Spanish class on Saturday. I guess he's keeping busy even without a TV. The kids were really pleased to get to talk to him, I think it made their day.
