Spring?

Today we got just a little taste of.....SPRING! Wow, I ran out at lunch to do a few errands, and actually left my window cracked 3-4 inches while I was driving! It was great!! The sun was shining, the air was warmer than it has been in a long time, it was GREAT! Of course, it'll be short lived, but I'll take it!

At lunch I ran to Payless and got Nick and Zach new tennis shoes for a total of $30! Zach's are Champion and Nick's are Tech Deck, which came with a cool toy that he instantly loved. They were both happy with them tonight. I also went to Meijer's and got some cool "real" art supplies for Cory's friend Andrew's birthday party tonight. Cory liked the idea, and when he saw the card said, "Mom, you make the coolest cards." Nothing like THAT to boost your morale!

While I was at Meijer's I spotted some small daisy/mum plants, so I decided that would be PERFECT for my office. I shoved papers to one side, and made a nice little spot for my daisies right on my desk...happy, spring-like thoughts were then invading my office :)

Finally, tonight Kyle GRILLED pork chops for dinner. He has become the GREATEST griller!! They were perfect!

So, while today's AWESOME weather may not last long, and yeah, it was only about 42 degrees, it was just what I needed to get me through until the REAL spring time shows up! Hope you enjoyed some sunshine or spring time air today :)
