Nothin' Much

Today was just your basic, boring, uneventful Monday. Can I just say how incredibly thankful I am for BORING days? :) They are few and far between in this house!!

The morning at work seemed to fly by, so I was surprised to look up and see that it was lunch time. I ran to Wendy's and went home to be QUIET and BY MYSELF! When I got home, there was a box...from South Carolina!! Thank you Dad and Susan, for all the goodies. Ladies with little ones, my awesome mom-in-law sent a box of WINDOW markers by Crayola. Yes, they can write on the windows! Boy did that keep the kids entertained, and they can't wait to be able to do it again tomorrow. Our windows are so big I just drew a line down the middle and gave each girl and boy a half. I'll have to remember to get pics of that tomorrow!

Tonight Kyle ended up staying with the three boys to watch 7th and 8th grade volleyball, so that left me in a bit of a predicament with the kids. Dad had just said Friday that if I needed help picking them up, he is out of work at 3:30, SOOOOOO I gave him a jingle, and he picked up Nick and Kaila for me. COOL! I had a few minutes to pick up the house and get dinner figured out before they got home...that's always a huge bonus. Tonight Kyle switched laundry and brought it upstairs and unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, which saved me 45 minutes or so! Whew!!!
