Impromptu Dinner Date

Tonight Madison and I found ourselves ALONE for dinner. Now this doesn't happen often, but Nick and Kaila were at Grandpa Radziewicz's, the three boys were at Aunt Traci's, and Kyle was out with work people for drinks. So I looked at Madi and asked if she wanted to go out to eat. As I got in the car I thought "I should see if Dad wants to go!" Knowing that it was the time when he usually walks the dog, I took off the opposite direction of his house, and there he was, a block and a half from Waterloo. We ran Katie home and went to Subway for dinner, just the three of us. It was nice to catch up with Dad, relax, and hang out for a while with just my girl. A great end to a busy week, that's for sure!!
