Lots to Catch You Up On!!!

Well, it’s definitely an adjustment having two more kids! There is just more of everything to do…laundry, homework, cooking, packing lunches, tucking in at night, etc. But oh my gosh it is SO worth it! Yesterday I got to work and Roni, the supervisor of inside sales, and a friend of mine, had bought both Nick and Kaila a new outfit each and a writing pad and pencils for them to write Bobby and Susan. So that started my day off with tears! I LOVE nice people J I also went to lunch with Kandi yesterday and ran to Target where I got Kaila some warmer tops and new socks because she complained hers were too small (we’ll pass those on to Madi!). She and Nick were both thrilled with their new stuff.

On the school front, Nicholas has always taken spelling tests but has never passed one. Well last night, we sat at the table and practiced writing them three times each, and then I quizzed him. I also ran through them in the car this morning, and he got them all right! He told me, “I think you and Uncle Kyle are going to be so proud of me if I do good on my spelling test.” Now, I don’t know, maybe he’ll BOMB the test, but if nothing else, he knew them this morning, and spent time learning last night. I just want to teach him, and my kids for that matter, that if you spend time working on something, you’ll get better at it.

Tonight I get to scrapbook with my girls…Kandi, Kristin, and Jill! It’s Kristin’s birthday today, so Happy Birthday Kristin!!! J Kyle was cool with keeping all six kids, they’re going to get pizza and watch “Rebound” together. Yeah for the best hubby ever!! I don’t know what I’m going to work on, I just threw all my stuff in the trunk of my car. I can not wait to go be creative and not do kid stuff for a few hours!

As for my photo of the day blog, HA HA HA! I’m not sure that sucker will ever get pictures again! I will probably just try to post more on here and not keep that one up. Something has got to give, it may as well be a second blog for crying out loud! Hope you all have a good weekend!!!
