Happy New Year!

Wow, 2006! I told Kyle on our way home from Jill and Gary's last night that I sure am thankful it is this year and not 2000! I would much rather be getting Nick and Kaila than have Kyle be diagnosed with cancer. That was sure a hard time in our lives. Adding two children to our already crazy life may be a challenge, but I will gladly take that challenge on! For those of you that haven't heard, I got a call from Bobby on Saturday, and it seems that he is most likely to be sentenced to 18 months in prison. He will be bringing over most of the kids stuff on Tuesday evening, and I'm going to ask to take Wednesday off to stay home with Nick and Kaila and also do some running around to get daycare, state aid, etc. taken care of.

Today I've spent most of the day straightening out, weeding out, and reorganizing my scrapping space. It seems silly on one hand, the rest of our house could use some serious attention, but if I can't have my creative outlet, NOTHING will get done! So, I got rid of a big bag of stuff to donate to some of my friends, and a bunch of other stuff went into the trash. That room is awesome right now, and that's where I'm heading after this and Snapfish! I've got to order pictures to scrap!

And now for the best part of my day, other than the fact that I'm still in my PJ's and it's 9:00, is that Kristin and Kandi were throwing around cropping on Friday (Kristin's Birthday!!). I told Kyle that they were scrapping without me, figuring there was no way he'd want to keep all 6 kids that soon, and he basically told me that I should go! He is so awesome! So lucky me, I'm going to scrap Friday night with my friends!!! :) Jill, any chance you can escape??!!

Happy new year everyone! Let's all say a prayer for health, peace, and time spent with friends and family!!!

Sooo glad it's not 2000 for you guys, definitely not fun to start a year by wishing it was over. You're such a great mom, and you'll make Susan proud by taking care of Nick & Kaila, I'm sure of it! Thank you :)
