The Good, The Bad, and The Exhausted!

First, the good...when we got home today there was a new electric griddle waiting for me...cool touch sides, big ole cooking surface, the works! Thank you Kristin for having that delivered!!! Also, I forgot to thank him last week, but Rex, the bags of paper supplies/toiletries rocked!!! How did we get so lucky to have such great friends and family??? Thank you!!!

Next, the bad. Aunt Ginkie passed away this morning. As hard as it is for Gramps and Gram, and Mom and others, I feel somewhat peaceful with the way things happened - she didn't have to suffer, didn't have to go into a nursing home, etc. Now for the selfish part of me, my Gramps and Gram are headed home tomorrow with my uncles Bill and Steve, and I get to see them all! Granted, it's not the best of circumstances, but the big family lunch and just being able to visit for a little bit will be nice.

Finally, the exhausted! I am so stinking tired today, I can not stop yawning. I had to work through lunch and late today, and when I go home, Kyle had just pulled in with the kids and McDonald's for dinner. What a guy! He said he knew we both didn't have very good days, and that no one would feel like cooking...so right he was!

Well, I'm off to relax for a while, maybe scrap for a bit, and then work with Nick on some addition problems he brought home to finish. Hope you all have a good weekend :)

You're so welcome! I was feeling bad because I'm really too far away to help on a regular basis, so when Jill said "ship it" I thought of the griddle. Maybe your kids won't think I'm such a freak this summer at the cottage when I whip the griddle out.

My kids don't think you're a freak, they think you're way cooler than me :) Thanks again my friend!!!

sad to hear about Aunt Ginkie, but I guess at least she didn't suffer for long and like you said, have to go to a nursing home.

hope you guys had a good weekend.
