Escaping the Craziness!

What a day! I escaped from the house EASILY this morning because everyone was sleeping! I got to sleep in an extra 45 minutes myself! We had an 8:00 AM meeting today, which was BORING! Then I planned to go to the 10:00 AM meeting with the Department of Human Services...I have the slip saying today at 10:00 AM...must be the lady FORGOT she had the day off...UM DUH!!!! How do you forget that! The State offices were closed for Martin Luther King Day!! Oh well, it's literally 30 seconds from our office building to theirs, but now I have to call and reschedule.

The kids all had a good day with Kyle. He got them all outside shooting hoops, riding scooters, etc. Very cool! Sunshine and fresh air, and they're all pooped out downstairs watching "Snow Day" so I've escaped AGAIN!

I just got off the phone with one of our camping friends...speaking of escapes! I can not wait to get back out to the campground again! Like Kyle says, time stands still out there. We love playing Yahtzee and Scrabble, listening to the radio, sitting around the campfire, etc. No TV, or very little of it. The kids can pretty much run free, so that's nice too! We're getting together with Dave & Vicki and their kids Morgan and Nick, and Scott and Tracy, and their kids Lindsey and Brett for pizza on the 28th. That is our ultimate ESCAPE!
