Back to the Rat Race

Back to work and school tomorrow...I could stay home forever! I've gotten lots of stuff done, although not nearly enough. Today I ran out to Grandma Bunker's to get a roll-away bed for one of the boys to sleep on. Thanks Mom and Rex for your help with that! I cleaned Cory's room with him, lecturing him along the way (and sounding just like my mom!). Then I set up the bed and Bradley called dibs on it! Zachary is also moving to the bottom bunk, and Nick will be getting the top! It's funny that they enjoy the changing of even the smallest things, just like their mom!

I found this quote in a magazine today and I love it! It sums up exactly how I feel every time the new year rolls around.

"The object of a new year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul." - G.K. Chesterton.

I always feel so hopeful and optimistic at this time of the year. Even in the face of getting two more kids in our home, I am calm and hopeful!!
