Another Day in Paradise :)

Yeah, I'm serious! I seem to have the acquisition of two more kids completely under control. Laundry - check, cooking - check, homework - check, hats & mittens - check, lunches packed - check, clothes laid out for tomorrow - check. I'm not sure how, or why, but I'm feeling GOOD about things!!

Susan called tonight and Kaila told her that we were coming to see her tomorrow. She said, "huh, nu-uh! are you serious!" or something like that on the line, I could hear her! She was totally surprised! She talked to both the kids for a bit, and then I yakked at her about how the kids were doing, etc. I told her about these that I made for each of their backpacks.



The kids loved them this morning when they found them tied to their backpacks. Nick didn't cry a bit tonight, and he has most nights this last week.

Cory and Brad had shooting tonight, so Kyle took them. We are settling well into routines that we had established, now we have just added more bodies to them!

Gram called me at work today...HI GRAMPS AND GRAM! Miss you and love you both! She called to rub in that it was 74 degrees today and they had short sleeves on outside! Whatever! At least it's going to be 47 here tomorrow :)

Well, I'm going to go plop my butt down on the bed and read for a while!
