Update From the South

We made it! We pulled into Aiken, South Carolina at 10:30 last night. We'd gotten on the road about 9:00, so that's pretty good time considering everytime we got back in the car from getting gas/potty break, etc., Madison had to GO again!! We stopped in Dundee because Madi hadn't eaten much breakfast to pick up snacks, and she asked if we were there yet. We knew we were in for a LONG trip!! Overall the kids were all good passengers - we even managed to find food and gas on Christmas Day.

This morning we were up around 8:00 AM and literally SAT most of today! Susan and I made a trip to Target and Walmart to get a memory card for Brad's digital camera, and Kyle and Cory took off downtown to do a little shopping for my birthday :) It has been so relaxing to not have to run here and run there and have 52 projects waiting for me. That in itself is the best birthday/Christmas present!! Kyle and I took the kids for a short walk today - here's a picture of that!
