Deer Fever - Part II

Deer number two for the season is at the Beef Barn as of right about now! Kyle and Dad brought it home for the kids and I to see. He was hunting in Springport on a lot of acreage where the owners and other hunters practice deer herd management (or somethin' like that!). This buck was "a scrub buck" as Kyle put it. Half a rack, with I'm not sure how many points. But for our family, that means more meat in the freezer, and with a family full of boys that PREFER venison to beef, that'll work!

Oh, and here is the other deer, from the 8th or 9th of October. That one was taken with bow and arrow!
